Overview
The Razor Crest is the ship of Din Djarin, the Mandalorian bounty hunter, who uses it as both transport and home in The Mandalorian[1]. Officially it is an ST-70 assault ship of the M-111 Razor Crest series, built by the Corellian Engineering Corporation, and it is about 24 metres long[5]. The ST-70 is an older design, a patrol gunship that local militaries flew before the Empire rose[1].
The ship was meant to look like army surplus: a worn gunship with a pair of big turbofan engines[4]. Two heavy laser cannons give it teeth, and hidden gun lockers hold a large personal arsenal[5].
Din's ship takes plenty of punishment in the series. Jawas strip it, a hard landing leaves it in an ice cave, and ice spiders swarm it[6][8]. In between, it limps into Hangar 3-5 in Mos Eisley for repairs[6].

How it flies and fights
The Razor Crest is a patrol gunship, built for militaries rather than bounty hunters. It carries two Mk 3e/W heavy laser cannons, and Din later swaps in more powerful ones[5]. Its top speed is 75 MGLT, and a class 1 hyperdrive takes it between star systems[5].
One pilot can fly it, and inside it works as a bounty hunter's base. Hidden gun lockers hold a large personal arsenal, and a carbon-freezing chamber is built in for freezing captured bounties[5][6]. The ship is old and worn, and it needs regular repairs to keep flying[6].

Behind the scenes
- Jon Favreau asked for an army-surplus look, so the team studied Second World War aircraft, derelict planes in airport boneyards and the paired turbofans of the A-10 Warthog[4].
- Doug Chiang's Lucasfilm art department created the initial concept. ILM then built a 24-inch (61 cm) miniature, made by John Goodson, and a near-identical digital version[2].
- John Knoll built a custom motion-control camera rig for the model. The miniature appears in about 15 shots in season 1, the first motion-control work at ILM in 15 years[4].
