Overview
Nevarro is a small volcanic world in the Outer Rim, a dry planet of black ash plains, cooled lava rock and glowing lava flows. The air is breathable, but little else about it is welcoming[1][6]. The galaxy map files it under grid square J-19 in the Dalicron sector[6].
Its main settlement, Nevarro City, is a walled town with a bazaar, and caves and lava tunnels run through the rock around it[6]. An Imperial base is built into the rock as well, close to the town and the lava fields[6].
Far from the centres of power, Nevarro made a convenient home for the Bounty Hunters' Guild, where Greef Karga handed jobs to hunters. Later it became a hiding place for the Empire's leftovers and for a covert of Mandalorians[1][2].
Who lives here
Role in the galaxy
Nevarro matters as a hub for hired guns. The Bounty Hunters' Guild works from here, and Greef Karga, its local expeditor, hands out jobs to the bounty hunters who pass through[1][2].
After the Empire's fall the world also sheltered people who wanted to stay out of sight: Imperial remnants, and a covert of Mandalorians, the Children of the Watch, living in the old sewers under the Armorer's leadership[1]. That mix of hunters, hidden soldiers and Imperial leftovers keeps pulling Din Djarin back to the planet across the series[1].
