Overview
Peridea is a distant world in another galaxy, known as the far galaxy. Its landscape is windswept and barren, with wastelands, grasslands and moors, mountains and lakes. Two landmarks stand out: the Great Mothers' fortress on a mountain, and the Sculpture of the Ones[1][2].
Small nomads called the Noti live on the planet. The scenes set on Peridea in Ahsoka were filmed in the Scottish Highlands and then altered digitally, which gives the planet its moors and lochs[3].

Role in the galaxy
Peridea is the setting for part of Ahsoka's first season. It is reached by purrgil, the space-faring creatures that cross between galaxies, and the Great Mothers' fortress is the focus of the story there[1][2]. The fortress and the Sculpture of the Ones are the planet's main landmarks, and the Noti nomads are its best-known natives.
