The planet lies in the Savareen sector, in the Christoph system, and has a single moon. It is seen only in animation: it debuts in the 2008 film Star Wars: The Clone Wars and returns in the series that followed, so it has no real-world filming location^[2].

Christophsis is an early test of the Clone Wars. The Separatists blockade and invade the planet at the start of the war, trapping a Senate relief mission in the Battle of Christophsis, one of the war's first major battles. It is also where Ahsoka Tano arrives as Anakin Skywalker's Padawan^[1]^[2].
