Overview
Batuu is a remote, temperate planet far out in the Outer Rim, covered in forests and mountain ranges and dotted with giant petrified trees known as spires[1]. The planet lies in the Trilon sector[4].
It was once a trading stop, until advances in lightspeed technology left it isolated and forgotten. Its main settlement, Black Spire Outpost, takes its name from the stone-like trees and became a haven for smugglers[1].
