Overview
Mimban is a muddy mining world in the Expansion Region, wrapped in constant fog and overcast skies. Its valuable minerals have made it a battlefield: Separatist droids fought the Republic here in the Clone Wars, and later the Imperial Army fought Mimbanese insurgents[1].
Imperial mining has wrecked the climate and cleared much of the rain forest, leaving churned plains of mud and scars where the mines cut in[1]. The infantry sent to fight there are known as mudtroopers[2].

Red-skinned people who live below ground. They helped the Republic's clones in the Clone Wars and now ambush Imperial troops, using mud as camouflage[1].
