Overview

The Invisible Hand is General Grievous's flagship, a modified Providence-class dreadnought of the Separatist fleet[1][2]. At about 1,088 metres long, it is a huge warship that carries heavy guns and droid fighters in the same hull[2][5].

Grievous, the cyborg supreme commander of the Separatist forces, makes it his own and leads the attack on Coruscant from its bridge in Revenge of the Sith[1]. The ship also appears in The Clone Wars series[1].

How it flies and fights

The Providence class is a heavily armed dreadnought that doubles as a carrier. Turbolaser batteries line the hull, and a hangar launches droid fighters such as vulture droids and tri-fighters[2]. The Invisible Hand is a modified ship of the class and carries deflector shields[2].
